KEITH MILLER OBITUARY

Sgt. Keith Miller (Playboy) passed away on January 30, 2015, after a long and courageous batle with cancer and COPD.  Keith was an Army Veteran who was stationed in Lanstual, Germany from, 1959 to 1962 as an MP.  Keith worked for the Detroit Police Department from 1962 to 1988.  He worked primarily in the Narcotis Bureau.  From 1982 until he retired in 1988, he worked with DEA and various other Federal combined task forces.  He was a Deputy Marshal and deputized Wayne Country Sheriff.
 
He moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1988 with his family and started a horse boarding facility  With the help of his second wife, Susan, he expanded his busines to include what was to become a very successful Horse Motel.  Keith was passionate about the military, gardening, horses, golf, Detroit Sports and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was also a history buff.
 
Keith was pre deceased by his first wife, Betty E. Miller of Alabama and his parents, Charles and Mary Miller of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan.  He is survived by his wife, Suasn Michael Miller (Lazar); daughter, Kelly Miller, sons, Keith Jr. (Linda), Charles (Gabby) and Kevin Miller (Pamela); grandchildren:  Jasmine Williams, Mariah Esquada (Carlos), Kelsey Mae Massey (Tuan), Chaz, Cody, Stephen, Dillon and Kevin; Great grandchildren, Sila, Leon, Penolope, Christoper and Layleanna.  He was also a beloved stepfather to Shawn Glaza (Zach), Tracie Ottmann (Danny) and Kerry Melendez (William), and grandchildren:  Ashly, Brianna, Joshua, Veronica and Rachel, and the loves of his life:  Rylie and Sloane, in addition to several nieces and nephews.  He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Bonnie Jacobson (Kenneth) and  brothers in law, Jerry and Gary Lazar. 
 
Funeral Servicse will be celebrated at th Santa Fe National Cemetary on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.  A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the Broken M Ranch, LLC, on Saturday, February 14, 2015 commencing at 1:00 pm.  Another service and get together will be held in Michigan on June 20th.  Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 2325 San Mateo Blvd, NE. Albuququerque,NM.
